New Orleans' own. Peychaud's is not optional — Angostura makes a different drink.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz
- ¼ fl ozCan make
- 4 dashes
- 1 dashAbsinthe
as a rinse
Method
1. Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe; discard the excess. 2. Stir rye, syrup, and Peychaud's with ice until well chilled. 3. Strain into the prepared glass — no ice. 4. Express a lemon peel over the top and discard it.
