Rich Demerara Syrup
Makes Rich Demerara Syrup
2:1 demerara — less volume for the same sweetness, with molasses depth. The standard for tiki and whiskey drinks.
Ingredients
- 400 g
- 6¾ fl oz
Method
1. Combine two parts demerara sugar to one part hot water. 2. Stir or blend until completely dissolved. 3. Cool and bottle. Keeps ~1 month refrigerated.
